This is Nature and History tour where we will start from the San Geronimo Fort with an explanation about the foundation and development of commerce in Portobelo, the effects of piracy in Panama and the attacks of Henry Morgan in the Portobelo Bay.

After we will climb the mountain adjacent the town and through a rugged path in the forest. We will arrive at the ¨Trinchera¨ a Spanish fortification on the top of Portobelo.

You will be surprised by the nature that surrounds the Portobelo Bay. Our local guide will show you many trees and plants and explain about their use. Be sure to bring your camera or binoculars beacuse we will possibly see many birds and animals!
